Ohpahow Wawesecikiwak Arts Marketing Co-operative

Located in rural Saskatchewan, the Ohpahow Wawesecikiwak Arts Marketing Co-operative first became certified in July 2008.The Big River First Nation Artisans Co-operative Project is providing a structured environment for the sharing and passing on of traditional indigenous arts and crafts to other members of their community.

95.7 FM Radio Station

Big River First Nation tunes into 95.7fm to listen to the MBC Network Radio that airs interviews, music, information and educational programming in both Cree and Dene. Missinipi Broadcasting Corporation was founded after the establishment of the Northern Native Broadcast Access Program in 1983, and is located in La Ronge, Saskatchewan.

BRFN also airs local programming in both Cree and English languages for our on-reserve listeners. Tune in to 95.7fm CIWF between the hours of 11am to 6pm to hear news and updates on BRFN events and information.
