Christmas Eve Service at New Christ Church - Located beside the Whitefish Lake. The service is on December 24, 2011 at 8:00pm, Christmas Eve. Everyone welcome!
BRFN BINGO GRAND OPENING - TODAY, December 6th, 2011 at the BRFN Band Hall. Doors open at 6pm. The opening night grand prize is a 50" Flat Screen TV!! Regular Bingo Games will be every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with doors opening at 6pm.

Cadet Registration Night - Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the BRFN Community Hall. Open to Youth 10 years and older. For more information contact Noreen @ 724-4700 or Doreen @ 724-4664. There will be entertainment following registration. A hiphop concert featuring BLU as well as other local entertainment. Free admission and a canteen will be available; canteen proceeds going toward Youth Group.

Employment Opportunity with FCED
The Fort-a-la-Corne Employment Development Corporation (FCED) will be at the Big River First Nation Band Office to take resumes for possible employment opportunities in northern Saskatchewan and Alberta. The date is Monday, May 16th at 10:00am. Interested applicants must bring their Social Insurance Number with them when they apply!
They are seeking applications from: Heavy Equipment Operators, Truck Drivers, Welders, Carpenters, Electricians, Housekeeping Staff, Cooks and Labourers. The positions may involve living in a remote northern camp setting, and may involve working up to three weeks in, and a week out.
