The Health Services program offers 26 community based programs aimed toward the well-being and health of Big River First Nation residents. BRFN has a Health Centre with health and dental services and recently hired a dietician along with all the services required.

9:00am - 5:00pm
Friday
9:00am - 4:30pm

Programs and Services

Dental services: Currently there are two dental therapists available full-time and one visiting dentist to provide dental services on-reserve at the clinic during regular hours.

Home Care Program: The Home Care program provides primary care for the chronically ill; it enables clients to stay at home where services are provided to them. There are many services provided within the program itself. There are currently four full time and two part time workers in this program.

National Native Alcohol Drugs Addiction Program: The NNADAP program provides counselling for alcohol and drug addictions. There are currently three full time workers in this program.
